The BTC pre-send checklist
1. Match the network
Choose BTC on Bitcoin mainnet. Do not substitute Lightning, wrapped BTC, an exchange-internal transfer, or a Bitcoin sidechain for the displayed on-chain route.
2. Budget for the fee
Your wallet or exchange may subtract a withdrawal fee. The complete frozen BTC amount must arrive at the displayed address, so pay the network fee separately.
3. Verify the destination
Copy the complete address from the private payment page and compare its beginning and ending after pasting. Never use an address from email, chat, or search results.
4. Leave enough time
Confirmation time changes with network demand and the chosen fee. Send before the 20-minute quote expires and retain the on-chain transaction ID.
5. Check the QR and extra fields
The BTC QR can include the on-chain destination and amount. Confirm both in your wallet before approving the transaction.
How the Bitcoin checkout works
- Select a checkout-ready product and review its format, region, term, device or account limits, and requirements.
- Enter an order email. AI Gift Pay never needs a provider password or wallet credential.
- Choose the exact BTC route and open the private payment page on aigiftpay.com.
- Compare the product, frozen amount, network, full address, token contract where applicable, and 20-minute countdown.
- Send the exact amount, then submit the on-chain transaction ID once.
- Wait for a separate verification message and manual delivery to the order email.
One ticker is not enough
The private payment page is authoritative. If your wallet's asset or network label does not exactly match, stop. Do not guess based on address format, fee, or speed.
Mistakes a refund may not be able to fix
Crypto transfers are generally irreversible. The refund policy can protect a correctly paid order that AI Gift Pay cannot fulfill; it cannot promise recovery of funds sent to the wrong address, wrong network, unsupported token, or an unrelated scammer.
- Do not use a payment address copied from an email, message, search result, or social post.
- Do not split a payment or send a top-up without written instructions tied to the same order.
- Do not resend merely because review is not instant; check the transaction ID first.
- Do not connect a wallet or approve a contract when the page calls for a simple transfer.
When is the order paid?
Only after an authenticated operator checks the correct chain, successful finality, destination, token contract where applicable, full amount received, and transaction uniqueness. A QR scan, page visit, transaction submission, exchange receipt, or screenshot never triggers fulfillment by itself.
Once verified, the product enters manual fulfillment for the delivery window stated on its product page.
